Refund & Cancellation Policy – Visayatra


At Visayatra, we strive to provide transparent and fair policies. Please read this Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making any booking.

1. General Policy

  • All cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing via email or official WhatsApp.
  • Refund eligibility depends on airlines, hotels, visa authorities, and third-party suppliers.
  • Visayatra charges service fees, which may be non-refundable as mentioned below.

2. Travel Package Cancellation

Cancellation charges depend on the time of cancellation:

  • More than 30 days before travel:
    Partial refund after deducting service charges and supplier cancellation fees.
  • 15–30 days before travel:
    25%–50% of the total package cost may be deducted.
  • 7–14 days before travel:
    50%–75% of the total package cost may be deducted.
  • Less than 7 days / No Show:
    No refund applicable.

Exact charges depend on airline, hotel, transport, and ground service provider policies.

3. Visa Services – Refund Policy

  • Visa fees, embassy fees, VFS/biometric fees, courier charges, and government fees are strictly non-refundable.
  • Visayatra service fees are non-refundable once the visa application process has started.
  • No refund in case of:
    • Visa rejection
    • Delay by embassy or immigration authority
    • Incorrect or incomplete documents provided by the client
    • Change in travel plans by the client

4. Airline / Hotel Refunds

  • Airline refunds are subject to the airline’s fare rules.
  • Hotel refunds depend on hotel cancellation policies.
  • Some bookings are non-refundable or partially refundable.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after receiving the refund from the supplier.

5. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–21 working days.
  • Refunds will be made via the original mode of payment only.
  • Bank charges, gateway charges, or currency conversion charges (if any) will be deducted.

6. Amendments & Rescheduling

  • Date changes, name changes, or itinerary changes are subject to availability and additional charges.
  • Rescheduling does not guarantee price protection.

7. Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemic situations
  • Political unrest or strikes
  • Airline operational issues

8. Final Authority

Visayatra reserves the right to accept or reject refund requests based on supplier policies and company terms.
